CARQUEST back as primary sponsor for eight races for two years.

CARQUEST Auto Parts announced at Phoenix on Friday, which is today, that they will be sponsoring Hendrick Motorsports No. 5 Sprint Cup Car driven by Mark Martin for eight races in 2010 and 2011.

"Our goals and values have always matched up extremely well, Carquest is focused on teamwork, quality and providing terrific value to their customers, which are things we emphasize daily in our business. We're excited that racing continues to pay dividends for them, and we look forward to seeing Carquest in victory lane many times in the next two seasons."

Mark Martin announced earlier in the year that he had signed an contract extension with Hendrick that will have him driving the No. 5 Chevy Impala SS for the next two years.

"I can't say enough great things about Carquest, They've been an incredible partner in my first season with Hendrick Motorsports, and I'm extremely happy that we'll have them back for the next two. I'm looking forward to having fun and competing for more wins with Carquest on board the No. 5 Chevy."

Also GoDaddy.com will serve as primary sponsor on the No. 5 for 20 races next season, and Delphi will sponsor two races. There are six races that still need sponsoring.
